Seize the Journey! Carpe Diem Education inspires growth and transformation through experiential education, community, and intercultural exchange.

Carpe Diem Education hires passionate, committed, professional & supportive Overseas Educators who are dedicated to inspiring growth & transformation!

Through service, travel, community, cultural exchange, and a dynamic and holistic curriculum, Carpe Diem Education students are challenged to step outside of their comfort zone and learn about themselves and the world around them. With an emphasis on experiential learning, each program is designed to actively engage students and challenge them to contextualize their experience through reflection.

Overseas Educators are trained to facilitate personal growth and learning while traveling throughout a region of the world for 3 months with a focus on community service. This combination has proven to be the best way to open the eyes of Carpe Diem students to the various perspectives of the people and environments across the world. Educators challenge students by consciously teaching them how to be better group leaders and better self leaders, and how to safely travel independently anywhere in the world.

For students who are looking to expand upon their in-country learning through a more formalized academic curriculum, Carpe Diem offers a wide range of college courses through their local partnership with Portland State University. They believe that this integrative approach to learning engages the mind, body, and spirit of our students, while providing opportunities to cultivate their passions and strengths.
