Travel for a Change
Greenheart Travel offers students and adults the opportunity to explore the world through unique cultural exchange programs in over 30 countries. Choose from volunteer projects, teach abroad programs, work experiences and TEFL courses to help you meet your travel goals. All travelers will receive personal service throughout the program, are provided medical/accident insurance and receive 24-hour support.
Teach English Abroad in a School while earning your living expenses and a monthly stipend! Live like a local while teaching English in your host community.
Dates: Full-time teaching assignments are available and vary in contract length for three months, a semester or an academic year, with specific application deadlines and start dates.
Aside from the personal and career benefits of teaching abroad, most assignments include an orientation, a monthly stipend, bonuses, full room and board, paid vacation and health insurance. Some programs also provide airfare and an international travel stipend.
Teachers must be at least 20 years of age, have a bachelor's degree in any subject, and be a citizen of the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. Most programs require a TEFL/TESOL certification.

Greenheart Travel: TEFL/TESOL Certification Courses
Unlike a tour program, the Teach English Abroad in a Homestay program is an intensive cross-cultural experience. You'll see and experience things beyond the reach of the average tourist. If you are studying a language, there is no better way to improve your conversation skills while tutoring your host family by teaching them conversational English for 15 hours a week!
Dates: Homestay programs run 1-3 months in length and can begin at any time throughout the year. Applications due 8 to 12 weeks prior to your intended start date.
Accommodation is with a carefully screened host family and all or most meals are included.
You should have the ability to converse at an intermediate level in the language of the host country.
Travelers must be able to create lesson plans to meet their teaching requirements each week.

Greenheart Travel's Volunteer Abroad programs combine rewarding service work with unmatched opportunities to learn about fascinating cultures while living like a local.

After your application is completed online, Greenheart Travel will confirm your acceptance within a few days, depending on the program interview process. You will receive an email packet of information including helpful tips on your program, traveling to a new country, and adjusting to life abroad.
Throughout the process, your personal Program Manager will always keep you updated and informed of all information regarding your program.
