Pahala (Kau district on the Big Island)

Come explore Hawaii in a different way! Blending a wilderness therapy model on an organic farm, Pacific Quest and the Program Guide team facilitate an environment for teens and young adults to recognize a want for change while learning about farming, sustainability, basic living and problem solving skills, health and nutrition, emotional growth and Hawaiian culture. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, farming/agroecology or outdoor education/leadership, or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Specific experience with “at-risk” youth or within wilderness therapy a plus. If you can make a one-year commitment and have experience and enthusiasm for working with teens in an outdoor therapeutic setting, apply with Pacific Quest!

Summer 2015 Crews
More exploration at Pacific Quest! In addition to 1-year Program Guide positions beginning in 2015, Pacific Quest will also be on the lookout for a bigger summer only crew this year!
